Hosted by the RI Chapter of the New England Mountain Biking Association (NEMBA) this free-to-the-public event is geared towards beginners who want to explore the world of trail riding. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment that encourages women and gender expansive individuals to build confidence, learn essential bike maintenance skills, and master fundamental techniques for a safe and enjoyable riding experience.

A 2010 survey by the IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association) showed that 60% of women believed that the perception of mountain biking as “hard-core” was deterring women from participating. With a limited capacity of just 15 participants, this clinic promises individualized attention and ample opportunities to interact with instructors and fellow participants. Whether you're new to mountain biking or looking to refine your skills, this event is tailor-made for you.
"This clinic isn't just about learning skills; it's about fostering a sense of empowerment and independence in trail riding. We want every participant to leave with the confidence to hit the trails on their own and embrace this exciting sport," says Tabitha Harkin, the event organizer.
