In all RI State Parks & Management areas we are required to wear 200″ square inches of fluorescent orange (that’s the area of a hat) starting September 15th thru February 28th. (This earlier date is for a new Dove Season just added). Then again for turkey season April 27th thru the last day in May.

Remember, unlike in all other New England states, we DO NOT have a no hunting on Sunday law.

Obviously more orange is better than less. Nows the time to look for a cheep vest to throw in your bike bag and wearing it.
