Thanks to all of you who came out today to help at the Big River Cleanup. About 50 mtbkers showed to help bring the turnout to over a hundred volunteers (plus some DEM and West Greenwich employees). With the help of a number of trucks, a town dump truck and I think five pieces of heavy equipment we filled eight or more dumpsters!!!
Cleaned old farm dumps, tire dumps, old boats, old truck bodies, an outhouse, a hunting blind, old tv’s, refridges, washing machines, tires tires tires and more tires (and that’s only what I saw!)……
Then a nice spread of food at the Big River Inn and raffle prizes.
