Arcadia Ride Series Kickoff
Was a warm day in the woods. Nine of us rolled out in what could have been the most “official” RINEMBA ride to date - 1 prez, 1 secretary, 2 vps. No, your math is not wrong - there were as many RINEMBA officers on the ride as there weren’t (maybe it’s a good thing BD has a bug).
Anyway the ride went swimmingly - except for one wrong turn that resulted in more hike than ride. Thousand apologies to those wanting to learn the area for that one. I’ll blame Leo - although I sanctioned the turn from the back.
Look forward to seeing more of you out there in two weeks (June 19). Oh yeah, and Huffin Puffin Pete wanted to remind y’all that the ride leaves at 9:30 - get to the lot early enough to change, stretch, whatever you need to do so we can leave on time.

Sorry about getting there last minute…then I had to put on my ragalia of downhill gear. Bad call. I got so overheated I was dizzy and wanted to throw up. My ride was a complete failure but I learned a few things the hard way.

sorry for your experience. I’ll make sure next time I see someone in full battle gear in 85 degrees to warn them of impending doom. Hope that your experience doesn’t dishearten you. We’ll be out there every couple of weeks during the summer. Hopefully see you again soon.
