Thanks
A HUGE thanks you for all who volunteered in Burlingame this week end

Special thanks to the Westerly Track and Athletic Club who came out to help, too!
We hauled (er, Bobcat Todd, hauled) about 8 yards of gravel and we raked and wheelbarrowed and raked it into the right places and shapes.
We built a badly needed bridge over the two drain pipes near the end of the Vin Gormley Trail. We put in at least a half-dozen water bars
and gravel near the playground and carried and raked a few more yards of gravel, there.
We shimmed, budged, wedged, coaxed and carried about 350 feet of boardwalk and bridges back into level and original places (since the rains pushed them around) with pinpoint precision and surefooted stability.
More work was also done with water bars and erosion abatement near Buckeye Brook Road and at the covered bridge.
The place got quite a facelift thanks to everyone’s help and hardwork.
In particular, I need to thank (sorry to some of the kids and others whose names I didn’t get!): TODD, LEO, AL, ALEX, CHRIS T., RICH, JOHN, MIKE G., REX, STEVE P., STEVE S. AND POLLY, TOM, JEFF, MIKE S.,ANTHONY, CHRIS AND MARK, LUKE, DALTON, ALLEN, AND THE OTHER KIDS!
Tha AMC was quite impressed and very thankful for our efforts. Our relationship continues to improve!
On a personal note, I can’t thank you enough for your efforts. That is my back yard we worked in and I truly treasure the little gem we helped to preserve.
