Trail Party at Burlingame with AMC
Here are a couple of pics from Saturday. The day went great and we had a good turnout of ten people. Huge thanks go out to Tom Pearson, Bruce McGowan, James Hoard, Steve Post, Mike Saunders, Marc Antaya, John Fleck, Alex Jacques and Kevin Holden. We put in at least four water bars, and hardened many areas that will be immediately noticeable to anyone doing the loop. The AMC did cut out a few of our favorite logs, but that was a small compromise for the good that we did out there Saturday. I must say that the log removal keeps the loop ‘beginner’.
Thanks to everyone who helped out. Great appreciation was shown by the AMC members at their camp dinner that night that I attended. This was the third year of our assisting in this project and they are really getting to know us for what we are. It was a great cooperation on Saturday.

We did the hike around the Gormley trail yesterday and we were very pleased seeing the amount and excellent quality of work done by NEMBA persons. Please pass along to them my gratitude for their concerted effort and much thanks to your organizing and directing them on this effort. Also, Tom did a very nice job leading the AMC family members who were involved on a project from the campground to the covered bridge on the Gormley trail.
