National Trails Day RI Nemba Project
Bridge Building in Burlingame
On June 6th (National Trails Day) RINEMBA is holding a bridge building project in Burlingame State Park, in Charlestown, RI. We have approval for a plan to build two bridges on the Sammy C trail. Each bridge will span about forty feet, or more. They are in the two muddiest sections of the trail, where streams pass through.
Date: Saturday, June 6th
Meeting Time: 9:00 A.M.
Place: Burlingame Picnic Area Parking Lot, off Prosser Trail
Materials needed: any hammers, drills, saws, shovels, carrying straps, etc.
Also bring food/drinks, bug spray, gloves, etc.
We will meet, then disburse to carry in lumber and get started.
